Great Sand Dunes National Park, CO May 1-3

 

After checking out a few BLM (Bureau of Land Management) campsites close to Great Sand Dunes NP, we ended up at a private campground our first night, and a site inside the park the second night.

Zoom in and you'll see someone sledding down the dune

...even though there's all this snow nearby!

Here's the stream we had to cross to get back and forth to the dunes.  Trust me, it's easier than the initial crossing on the Hedgehog Brook trail in VT.
