CA Last days in Berkeley May 27-28

On Saturday morning I went back to the Ohlone Greenway and biked it to Richmond, logging in about 13 easy miles and did I say flat?

Well, what else... we awaited Safelite Auto Glass arrival to repair a small crack in our front window caused by a truck kicking up a stone last week.  They showed up, the laundry finished, and Christine arrived all at the same time.

We drove to the Guild, walked to Market Hall Foods on Fourth Street for takeout meals, back to Guild.

It's a glaze night at Berkeley Potters Guild.

Piper and I walked back to our hotel from there, only 3/4 mile.

On Sunday we met up with our niece Evelyn for a really nice visit!  Great food and venue at Dona Mexican Restaurant on Piedmont Ave.

We walked Piedmont Ave to the Chapel of the Chimes that houses a huge intriguing collection of cremated ashes in decorative urns and book-like containers, a library-ish presentation w many rooms.

Just make sure to walk further down the street before calling for your Lyft.  We did (barely) make it to our next destination on time.

Here's Christine, summoning information from a "computing" machine.

Lovely long last evening hanging out with Christine.  See you in September!
